The Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (PCRS) is the platform that Member States use to register pledges of uniformed capabilities for the United Nations. It is the only entry point for selection of military and police units. It enables the more rapid deployment of uniformed peacekeeping capabilities that meet UN standards of training and performance. It facilitates both Member State and UNHQ planning for future peacekeeping deployments.

Objective

The Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (PCRS) establishes a predictable and interactive process between the UNHQ and Member States for ensuring readiness and timely deployment of quality peacekeeping capabilities that meet UN standards of training and performance.
